Default Mazda 323 ECU meter etc

I recently posted the following post:
I have a 2001 (Y Reg) UK Mazda 323 1.8 SE Manual , I have just replaced the intake hose as it had perished causing the car to run rough, and now runs Ok, the problem is that now the ABS TCS/TCS Off and Handbrake lights stay on when I start/run the car. Have looked at various sites on the web and all postings seem to be from about 2001-3 regarding a faulty, very expensive, unit in the car, spoke to our local Mazda dealer today who said check the brake fluid as that would cause the Handbrake light to be on - no mention of others though, level ok, his then said it could be the ABS unit 'I can see the pound signs flashing up'
I am now looking at getting a ECU reader to see if I can identify the problem myself but have the following questions:
Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced ECU reader (ebay?) and will it reset the warning lights.
Is there a manual available for the 323 to show where to connect the ECU reader etc.
Thanks
Ray

I don't know what this costs. I have an actron pocket scan plus, does fine for me. You need a more advanced model to read abs codes. Check this you tube
I don't know what it cost, I am sure it would be available to ship to the UK. My point is, I have one because I have an 02 tribute, a 2000 suburban, and my dd 1996 lumina. I also have a haynes manual for each.
