Air Mass flow meter?
Is there any way to fix the air mass flow meter if you accidently disconect the connector where the two screws are at and pull it out?
Because I did that and now I have a major problem, the car starts then the check engen light comes on and when I try to push the pedal it dies.
Major problem.
As far as I know, there is no repair on mass air flow sensor. If you pulled the connector out of the sensor housing with the internal terminals that broke, it is probably garbage now. This sensor is a sealed unit, and when it breaks, there is no way to fix it. Sounds like you broke the internal circuit board in the sensor.
Yeah I did and now its going to cost about 230 to replace but I have it ordered and its on its way now.
Just a really costly mistake, I guess you live and you learn.

I have heard you can repair the airflow meter. PATIENCE, remove the d-shape cover, silicone sealant. Once the cover is removed,
you need a low heat soldering gun, very carefully resolder the three wires. As you will see it's a micro circuit board. PATIENCE &
A CAREFUL HAND!

Yeah I figured I could do that but since I don't have the tools and the parts is already on the way I would rather not mess with it.
But yeah If I did I would probly try that first.
