I've got a 1998 323 1.5 and the car wouldn't always start, replaced starter brushes but it would still happen, the only way the car started was by connecting wires directly from the battery to the starter, now the car wont even crank, when I turn the key I hear a click on the right side and one coming from under the bonnet, the Immobiliser icon turns red once the key is to on, and I can't remember if it would be on before when the car used to start, it has a Mitsubishi immobiliser and I was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass it, I think it could be the thing around the key hole that reads the key but I'm not sure, I've tried all the methods I've seen online for getting the dash to send any code or to recode the key but none of them work. I can post videos or pics if it helps.
