I have a 2000 (W reg) Mazda 323F LXI diesel, 5 door hatch, my problem is the factory installed alarm activates randomly and for no apparent reason, this is annoying me greatly and also my neighbours.


Q .. How can I disable this alarm permanently?

I am not aware of a factory installed alarm on the 323 series, or in fact any Mazda to date. More modern cars do have a disabling system when the wrong key is inserted, for example, but not a sounding alarm.
Are you absolutely sure it is not an aftermarket system the dealer sold and installed at the original point of purchase?
