I have a 1.3 Mazda 323 with a BAD noise/vibration problem and no one can hear it but me! I don't know anything about cars so I'd appreciate some help. As I'm accelerating through the gears the car suddenlybursts into the most awful noise at approx. 35, 45 and 55 milesper hour. It only lasts a few seconds and as I move into the next gear the noise subsides.I can't tell where the noise is coming from. I've been to 2 different garages and they can't find anything wrong with the car but the noise/vibration just won't go away! I've had the car approx. 7 years and this started last summer. HELP!!!!

 

I had very annoying noise which clearly depended on the engine RPM. It was very difficult to find the reason and I spent a lot of money replacing parts suspected without any success. It finally turned out that the cause of that noise was the tailpipeā€™s U-clamp which was loosen. You may therefore wish to check if all the nuts, screws etc. of your tailpipe are tight well.
