Hello all. I just purchased a 1983 626 as a winter beater. I was wondering, are there any issues with these cars I should take a look at before it starts to get really cold. Apparently the one I just bought has an issue with the intake gasket. I would have to replace that and fix the exhaust leak, otherwise, the car seems pretty sound. Im sure that sometime during the winter, something will happen (since it always does).

Also, I was wondering if anyone out there can help guide me to a place where I can read the specs on the engine/car and all the little things like that. Even though this is a winter car I wouldn't mind tweaking my ride a bit =D

 

A "winter beater" car must be an up north thing... I am from south Texas and we just drive one car year round! Unless we want to have more than one car or truck. [sm=gears.gif]
