Default Fuel pump system Mazda 323 1995 Astina

Hi there, we removed the fuel pump system from under the back seat to find the ‘strainer’ quite filthy and full of gunk. We found it difficult to find anything similar in stores, so had to clean it best we could and put it back. Can anyone tell me if there is a universal fuel pump, with rectangular strainer, that we can get? The closest picture I’ve seen is one that has come from a Mitsubishi Lancer.
Thanks!

You will be hard pressed to find a strainer aftermarket. Have you contacted Mazda?

No, not yet, but great idea! I will give them a ring on Tuesday. Thanks! 😁
