Default Engine Died After Braking

I have a 2002 mazda 626 with a 6 cylinder engine. When I stopped hard (not hard enough to activate the ABS) the engine stalled and now won't start. The engine cranks but acts like it isn't getting fuel.
The check engine light does not come on at "bulb check" when the key is turned. A 30amp fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse. CEL came on until engine turned over. Then it blew again.
I know this indicates a short but where and how do I find it?

Use a diagram to see what all goes through this fuse. It probably includes the brake light circuit, maybe the ABS. Then look for a short in the wiring and harnesses.
