Default Door locks unlock in park automatically

I have a friend who has a 2002 Mazda 626 Limited Edition. She loves the car, but says that when she stops and puts the car in park, all of the door locks automatically unlock. This is a "feature" which she does not like. I believe there must be some way to turn this off, but the owner's manual doesn't address any sort of adjustment for the door locks. Does anyone know of a way to turn this off?

Hello, my dad's mirage does the same thing. I don't know the fix, but you can take out the fuse for the door locks as a temporary fix. Only thing is, you'll have to unlock and lock the doors manually like the old days. hehe
