Default Cold air intake

I just have a question about having a cold air intake on my 626. Is it possible to slap on of those on even though it has all the MAF sensors? If so what kind should I get? Thank you,
Matt

Default Were do you get a high flow air intake?

I've been looking at a few websites but they only say they carry a replacement filter. I want to relpace the cold air intake on a '91- 626 to a high flow, the engine is a 2.2L.

It may be time to build your own?
I have heard that there are a few that offer kits to do that with. You order the kit which comes with a variety of tubing pieces, connectors, clamps and a filter. You figure out what the best configuration is and either clamp it together, or weld it up. Then return the unused pieces back to the company for a refund.

thanks, I went to a store on eBay and found a new complete kit for $28.00, if i need to weld anything I'll ask one of the maintenence engineers at work to help out. Could get a few more zoom, zoom hp. Let you know how the install goes once I get it.
