Default 98 626 headlight problem

im pretty sure that i know what the problem is. the ground to the switch is bad. just wondering if anyone has an idea of where it is grounded to. i just bought the car and dont have a manual for it yet. any help will be great.

oh and basically what happens is the headlights wont turn on. everything else works though when the switch is turned... just not the headlights.

currently i have an extended wire running down by my feet that i just loop around something metal to make a good ground.
