'97 626 Wagon electrical issues

'97 626 Wagon electrical issues
Hi guys,
this is probably a shot in the dark but maybe you guys have some clues of what to do.
Bought a Mazda 626 1997 wagon a year and a half ago, all electronics except radio was working at the time.
I plugged a phone charger into the cigarette lighter one day and the whole centre console shorted out. Radio, fans, side mirrors are all non-functional. When i replace the fuze they work for a day or so and quickly blow the new fuze.
Checking wiring is such a daunting and expensive task, just wondering if you guys have experienced this before or have any hints of where to look.
