I've got a 85 626 2.0 5 spd w/the factory cd and radio ...wondering what I would need for an aftermarket cd player as the speakers sound seems to be wired through the cd player (which no longer works)...radio works fine, but I need my mp3's how hard is it to bypass the player (or replace it)?

 

Its actually not hard at all, you need to get the right harness kit, I believe you would have to use a ford harness kit, and no you cant turn a stck radio into playing mp3's. You need to buy a n aftermarket cd player with mp3

 

thanks, I knew I couldn't get mp3's on the stock, I've got an alpine for that from my old car, and its a 95 btw...typo.
