I just purchased a 99 Mazda 626 lx. The cd player is bad I want to replace it. I need to know how to remove the factory cd player. Any help/suggestions would be great.

 

The CD player is removed using what are commonly referred to as Ford radio removal tools.

Take the little trim covers off of each side of radio. Insert the tools into holes below covers with tips of tools aiming as much away from CD player as possible about 1/2 inch or untill you feel a click.

Spread the tool handles outward and pullCD player out of dash.
