The CD player is removed using what are commonly referred to as Ford radio removal tools.

Take the little trim covers off of each side of radio. Insert the tools into holes below covers with tips of tools aiming as much away from CD player as possible about 1/2 inch or untill you feel a click.

Spread the tool handles outward and pullCD player out of dash.
