You should buy the direct replacement fuse. Should be available at any auto parts store. Autozone had to order mine once, didn't take long though

no i just bought regular 100 AMP fuse and replaced it. You have to unbolt two bolts to get it out. It's not like others where you just pull em out.

Yeah, that's the replacement fuse. Other 100 amp fuses are available, but they don't fit like that one.
Made for an interesting side project after my first mx3's engine swap. Misplaced the insulator from the alternator, blew the fuse when i hooked up the battery. D'oh!
I saw one car, 929, whose owner tore that fuse to shreds attempting to remove it.

maybe you could help me with with something else..

i put the the battery wrong way blew up the main fuse, but i fixed that. Everything works fine now except one thing.. my ac fuse blows up everytime i put the new one. I think it because of that stupid mistake i did by putting the battery wrong way. when i push the ac button i can hear that my fan is starting to spin under the bonnet) rpm goes up but no cold air just warm?

I'm not sure on that one... Maybe a relay? possibly shorted due to the reverse polarity...
