Default 93 Mazda 626 Limitor

Hey was just wondering.. When im driveing the computer doesnt let me go over 185-190 was wondering if i could do something to the ecu to change that.... or do i have to change a chip...

Mazda computers such as yours are not changeable for speed limiter and doubtful that a chip would be available. Might be replacement PCM's but since these are not in the popular market for modifying then will be a tough search.

My friend told me i just had to loop 2 wires on the e.c.u. and that that's all those chips do is make a loop in ur circit

Sounds like some BAD info. The "chip" in the ecu contains all the parameters for engine controls. It is the "brains" of the system. It is a smaller version of what is in your home computer. BUT....if you want to monkey around in your ecu, go ahead. Just be prepared to buy another one.

Depending upon application (ie 4 cyl or V6, auto or manual trans) you would be looking at between $1200-2021 for a new computer from Mazda.
