93 Mazda 626 Limitor
Hey was just wondering.. When im driveing the computer doesnt let me go over 185-190 was wondering if i could do something to the ecu to change that.... or do i have to change a chip...
Mazda computers such as yours are not changeable for speed limiter and doubtful that a chip would be available. Might be replacement PCM's but since these are not in the popular market for modifying then will be a tough search.
Sounds like some BAD info. The "chip" in the ecu contains all the parameters for engine controls. It is the "brains" of the system. It is a smaller version of what is in your home computer. BUT....if you want to monkey around in your ecu, go ahead. Just be prepared to buy another one.
