It is called an air adjust screw. Does not actually change the throttle plate position but instead allows more or less air to bypass the throttle plate. First pic below is where to locate it. You will want to get a jumper between the TEN and GND pins at the diagnosis connector in order to set base idle speed and timing. Connector is located under a box like cover up by the battery and usually has the word DIAGNOSIS imprinted on the top. second drawing below shows it.

Thanks BabyHuey..I'll try that this morning....As it is the engine runs great at any speed off idle...But once the throttle is on the stop it will barely run...Any other tips or prints would be GREATLY appreciated.....Thank you for replying!!

Thnks for the print and the advice..Found the screw....Adjustment made the idle a little better but still very rough.....It sounds like its still fighting to idle....Haynes manual says the vaccum to the EGR valve at idle will bog (or kill) the engine at idle...I don't have vaccum there at idle but I'm, fairly sure that my EGR valve is clogged up and possibly frozen in the open position....I get a fairly strong exhaust fume odor while I'm looking down into the EGR..Will post an update..

The used 626 I might buy has a very rough idle, the engine was hopping about and sputtering. It almost stalled many times on the test ride at stops. The handler is having it fixed. It may be more than an idle adjustment.
