I'm working on a 1988 Mazda 929. There are two electric / vacuum items, located on the front of the air-cleaner-box assembly.

For the past few days, they've been clicking excessively.

I'm don't know what they're officially called, before I try and source a replacement.

I also understand that the problem may be that I have an electrical problem, or, that I have a vacuum leak somewhere else.

However I'm still wondering what the 'proper' name for these items.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
