Hello people, I'm new here and I have a bit of a strange question. I have a '92 626 2.5L and I snapped the yellow ring off the oil dipstick. No problem there as it still does it's job, but I have come across a replacement dipstick which is also from a '92 626. This one is longer than mine but it fits. Now I'm worried that the one in my car is not the right one and have I been over filling the oil for the past 2 years!! Does anyone know the correct length or part number for a 2.5L oil dipstick? Or does anyone know where I might find this out?
