'92 323 Tail Lights Always On
So I recently discovered that my tail lights come on as soon as I start the car. I'm nailing it down to the relay since the fuse is good and the only thing that turns the lights off is opening the trunk hatch past a certain point with the car running. Now here's the problem. I've got a Haynes manual with two separate diagrams for headlight circuits. One for cars with cruise control and one for cars without. The diagram for cars without cruise control has the circuit going through a 10A tail fuse and through a combination switch to the daytime running light control unit then to the headlights. The diagram for cars with cruise control has the circuit running through a 15A tail fuse then to a tail light relay which then goes to the tail lights. Here's where I'm confused. As far as I know I don't have cruise control and I have no reason to believe I do, it's a 323 DX. However, my tail fuse is 15A so I'm trying to find out if I do have a tail light relay or not. I've found the daytime running light relay down on the right side of the passenger footwell, but no tail light relay. Does anyone know where I would be able to find it, or if I'm going down the right path on this problem? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
