88 323 wont start
Hi Mazda folks,
Here is my dilema. It ran fine till the battery went dead. Got a new battery. Made a failed attempt (fortunately) to put the battery in backwards. Got that figured out before too long. Now it wont start.
1)Seems to have a lot of fuel pressure when I disassembled the fuel rail.
2)Tested the injector signaling. Seemed to be getting a signal to all injectors.
3)Cant tell what the regulator is doing.
4)I dont hear anything like a priming sound when i put the key in the run position before I start it but there is fuel in the rail with pressure when I try to crank it.
5)Car will run fine on ether until it runs out.
6)When I check the plugs after an attempted start, they are bone dry.
Help me please.
