Default 87 mazda 626 - not problem, just curious

I have a 1987 mazda 626 GT, turbo, auto adjusting suspension, the works, decked with everything.
anyway, that doesn't matter, it's an 87 626, my parents bought the car brand new, and i own it now, when it was pretty close to brand new, still under warranty, it started making a wine/whistle when cold engine, usually more so in colder weather, it will wine after it gets about 2200 RPMs, and all the way up, it gets quiet below 2200, it's not a problem, i'm just curiuos if i'm the only one that has had this problem. my parents never took it to warranty for it, because they would have had to leave it overnight, and always needed the car the next morning type of thing. anyway, it made that noise for about 18-19 years. then i rebuilt the engine, replaced a number of things, if interested to know what was replaced, just ask. and previously to the rebuild, it pretty much stopped making the noise, very weird. after i rebuilt it, it didn't make it, and just recently, it's started making it again, i'm stumped. it's funny. btw, the noise does stop after it's warmed up. does it at idle also, again, just until warmed up, then stops. any ideas, i'll tell you if i checked that. - i do know it's NOT the turbo, i heard a B2200 make it too, no turbo on that.
