I have a 1990 blue MX-5 and I have a cousin who keeps telling me how simple and cheap it is to just buy 4 of the 2nd generation RX-7 injectors, and a t-3 from an audi (already found one if i want it) and an intercooler from a similar car (have one of those too and it's huge) and last the MAF from the same year RX-7. He's also found a guy online who will tell you how to adjust the MAF so it will idle correctly without any sourt of piggyback or fuel management. However I like my little miata's gas mileage and would hate to ruin it just to get more power. I've considered naturally aspirating it but I have no idea how much power that would give me. If there is a median between the two or one is better than the other please leave feedback and any corrections to any of my theories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Miatas are already N/A. I'd only trust a true turbo kit, not a bunch of parts assymbled from many different cars. If I were you I'd try a supercharger.
