Ive got a bit of a dilemma on my hands. Someone tried using a hammer to knock out the wheel bearing out of the spindle before I got my hands on this car. Since it was screwed, I tried using many methods to try to get this bearing out. Now that I have the hub seperated from the spindle, there's a race still stuck inside the spindle. There are not many 626's where I live so getting a spindle is nearly out of the question, unless I can buy one from here. But beyond that, are there any special tools that I may need besides a bearing press? Ive had a friend try to use his hydraulic press but the way the race of the bearing is stuck, it won't budge. Im all out of hope. Can anyone shed some light on this problem of mine??

Has the spindle been damaged from the cocked bearing inner race and would still be reuseable? If so then give a thought to cutting the race off. A cut off tool or even a dremel (given a ton of patience) could be used to put a cut into the inner race at least close enough not to damage the spindle with the cutting bit and then use a sharp whack with a chisel to go ahead and break the race and remove. Same method is used to remove a stuck inner race often when replacing a wheel bearing. Not sure if your situation is the same,
