626 engine cutting out
Hi there
I'm in the UK and driving a petrol automatic 626.
For the last month or so whenever the car is allowed to roll to a stop (rather than braking) the rev counter gets really low and the engine cuts out - it feels like the car is about to stall (as manual cars do).
3 warning lights stay on the dashboard when it cuts - the oil light, battery light and 'TCS off' light (not sure if this is relevant).
Any suggestions for what it is likely to be would be great! The MOT is due at the beginning of June so obviously I don't want to leave this for too long. I keep meaning to get it to the garage to be looked at but the one that I use (and trust to be honest with me about any problems) are only open 9-5 Mon-Fri (when I'm at work) and Saturdays until 1pm which is also usually an inconvenience.
