Default 323f problem

Hi guys I have a 1.5 16v 323f and its running like a DOG.
1st problem it does'nt idle properly REVs drop off to about 300 rpm and then come back to normal.
2nd problem when driving the car it can be very jurky as if the air fuel mixture is wrong
I have left the car into my local Mazda Tech and they can not find the problem they first said it was air flow metre but had this independently checked and its fine. Not sure if I trust them any more as they have suggested a few other things they seem to be guessing.
Can any Body Help[:@]

Default RE: 323f problem

My son has the same car and is having the exact same problems. I've replaced plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor thinking it might be an electrical problem but nothing helped. Also have ran Seafoam through the intake, poured some in the gas tank and more in the crankcase. Didn't change anything.

It's bad until the engine warms up. Once fully warm it runs like a raped ape but will still hit this "sluggish spot" when accelerating . I'm leaning towards a throttle position sensor myself. But that is why I came here, to find out if anyone else had this problem and what they did to fix it.

All suggestions appreciated.
