323 Protege '02 ES Different Tire Size?
Hello Guys,
Got an quick question.
I am looking to replace the weired stock 195/55R15 tires with a different size.
Currently looking at 195/60R15 or 190/60R15
I also used this dandy calculator Ejelta.com: Tire Size Calculator which suggested
205/50
195/50
Will all of these fit? Are some better than others? I decided not to consder anything less than 190 since they look too thin.
tx a lot!

If you want to stay with 15" wheels and retain the same tire circumference, you would need to go to a 215/50-15. The 205/50 is shorter than your 195/55 and would increase the optimistic readings on your speedometer by about 1.6% and probably hurt fuel economy slightly due to the higher RPM.
The 215/50 is about 0.78" wider than your current 195/55, which translates to less than 0.4" wider on each side of the tire, which shouldn't be a problem (but you should inspect the clearances first).
If you go with the 205/50-15 you MIGHT notice more of a void between the tires and the wheel wells due to its shorter height.
