I bought my car from a friend a while back and am starting to have issues with the seatbelt on the drivers side. It moves back and forth after shutting the door, which I fixed by pulling the seatbelt fuse, but now the seatbelt warning noise is turning on frequently and it is annoying. Any thoughts?

 

The seatbelt control unit is under the passenger front seat. Disconnecting it might work.There was a recall on those seatbelts, im not sure it's still an open recall but i would check.

 

Thanks! I think I fixed it. I believe it might have just been a power situation caused by how bestbuy installed my stereo. I was messing around with the
cables from it and when I pushed to of the cables away from each other the seatbelt stopped freaking out. Not sure how that could cause it, but I think it has stopped. I will look into the recall thing though. Thanks for the quick response!
