Default 1986 323 DX Sedan total brake failure

While driving I lost my ability to brake. I bought more fluid thinking it was the issue. I noticed a puddle under my passenger driver side door. I carefully made it home safe. I can see where the leak is coming from but it seems to be above the gas tank. Is there anyway to access this area without dropping the gas tank? I’m worried it’s not even worth the cost of trying to fix it. Can anyone give me some advice?
thank you in advance.
