I recently replaced the window regulator motor on my 2015 CX9 driver's side. Unfortunately, the backside of the panel where the motor sprocket goes into came loose...I could not line it up to put the 3 bolts back together. I cannot find any other videos online describing what I needed to do next...I had to get my hand behind the interior panel to hold the receiving sproket part where the motor affixes. I loosened several screws including the actual regulator screw too...i finally got my hand down the backside, held the part in place & screwed on the motor. That's when the fun began....the screw from the regulator wouldn't line up in the appropriate slot; I removed all the remaining screws so I could gently move the panel upward to fit the screw...at this point the window started coming down...I lifted the panel and the window went up as far as it could go yet I am still not able to align all of the screw holes...all of this just to align the regulator screw in place! I'm trying to avoid the dealer like the plague....any thoughts as to how I can get the panel in place & lined up would be helpful..thanks.
