Video on replacing the brake light switch on a 2014 Mazda3
My 2014 Mazda3 suddenly would not start. I'd press on the brake, but the green light on the "Start" button would not illuminate -- it was as though I was not pressing on the brake. I did some research and decided that the easiest place to start was to get a new brake light switch, which I got for $14 from Amazon. Swapping it turned out to be pretty easy, so I made a video about it. It was definitely harder making the video than it was to replace the switch! The good news is that the car has started perfectly with the replacement switch. Here's the video:
