Default upgraded value: 2004 engine in 2001 Tribute

Last year my V6 ran out of oil (mis-calibrated dip stick?). Regardless of why (I'm not that stupid!), I had to have the engine replaced ($2700). The replacement was a re-manufactured 2004 V6--replacing the original 2001 V6.
All other things being equal, what would be the change in the value of my vehicle? How would I document the change? How can I show that the re-manufactured engine has only about 7,000 miles on it (now), while the vehicle has about 130,000?

For a vehicle with 130,000 miles on it my guess would be a net-net change of virtually zero. Why? Because well cared for engines with "only" 130,000 miles on them should be good to go for a quarter of a million miles at the bare minimum, and it is unlikely the engine will fail before the rest of the vehicle becomes a cash drain from a maintenance perspective. That the engine in your vehicle is new(ish) means very little vis-à-vis how long said vehicle will remain cost effectively serviceable.
