Have a 1999 Mazda Protege- transmission has been hesitating before going into 1st gear. No problems with reverse. Delay has been getting longer and longer- now won't go into 1st at all. Any ideas- does it work on a vacuum system? Appreciate any advise! Will have to have it towed quite a ways to have a transmission shop look at it.
