TPMS valve leaking on cold days?
Hey everyone,
I have a 2007 Mazda 3 S and I have a leak in one of my tires. In order to diagnose the problem, Ihave swapped tires between wheelsmore than once, and the same rim seems to be leaking. However, it only seems to lose pressure rapidly on cold days (20 degrees or lower) I go from 35 psi to about 10 psi overnight. On warmer days it's fine for weeks. I should also add that all the tires I've tried on that rim were tested for leaks, and no leaks were found.
Has anyone had a "cold tire leak" like this with their Mazda? Anyone think it's the TPMS valve unit? Perhaps the rubber "O" ring? Any stories/feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks
