hey everyone. this is my first post on here so bear with me.

I have a 93 protege dx 1.8L sohc 5 speed and have recently had charging issues with it. we think we fixed that then had to put a new clutch in. now that the clutch is in the car will turn over and pop right off but will only stay running for a few seconds then its like the fuel is just cut completely off. I test the tps and it seems fine but have no idea where else to go from there. when its running for the few seconds and starts to die you can just tick the starter on and it will run for a few seconds longer and will stay running as long as you keep engaging the starter. its like its getting fuel will the starter is engaged but as soon as you let the key into the "run" position its cuts the fuel off. so any help would be awesome! thanks
