Is there a way to show current (not historical) traffic conditions on the newest (2016+) Mazda Connect systems in the United States?

What I'm looking for are some sort of colored lines on the map that indicate traffic flow (red, yellow, green...) and info about lane closures/accidents.

This to me is a basic feature of any navigation system but in my internet searching it sounds like this feature doesn't work in the United States (but might in other countries).

Can anyone answer definitively if it works or not in a 2016.5 CX-5 Grand Touring (or similarly equipped Mazda)?
