Hi, I am new to this forum and come from Havant in England.

I only picked up my RX-8 a few weeks ago.
The weather as started to get bad and I needed to clear salt of my windows while driving, as I
Squirted the water over the window a strong smell of coolant overwhelmed me. My dilemma is I am concerned they have filled my washer bottle with coolant and the radiator with washer fluid.

How should I best proceed?

Will the coolant ruin my paint work?
Will washer fluid do any harm to the radiator or car?[/ol]
I guess what I should do is go straight back and ask them to check, though I have had the car a few weeks and I can see them looking at me as though I am stupid.
Your help and advice would be appreciated.

Wow, just wow. I don't know for sure but I imagine coolant really isn't good for your paint, so if there's any on there still I would rinse it off right away. I don't think washer fluid will damage the cooling system seeing as in warm weather you can run straight water and it will be just fine. Definitely get this resolved soon and if they did put the wrong fluids in never go back to that place for service.
