Replace headlight bulb on 2014 CX-5
OK, please don't laugh at me. This is my first new vehicle in 20 years and I don't want to break the dang thing. I am a 55+ woman with pretty strong hands (massage therapist for 19 years), but I can't loosen the headlight bulb. Directions say to loosen counter-clockwise. I am able to loosen the turn signal bulb and the high beam bulb turning counter-clockwise about 20 degrees, but the main headlight is snug as a bug in a rug. I get a little wobble (maybe 2-3 degrees), but nothing more. Do I need to push and twist to 'unlock' the flanges on the bulb or just 'go for it' or take it to my mechanic? Arrrggghhh! Can't even change the bulbs. I feel silly.

I'm going to assume that you have the regular halogen bulbs and not the HID bulbs. If you remove the connector from the bulb, it should be just a quarter turn to the left. If your trying to remove it with the connector still on, you'll fight with it.

Thank you so much for the help. I finally decided to just use a bit more force and was able to unlock the halogen bulbs. I did read that you have to remove the connector first (especially on the drivers side) since there is room for only one hand to work the bulbs.
