Default Problem pairing phone to car

Hi All

I'm new to the forum, so 'hello' other members

I have a 2016 Mazda 2 sport Nav. My phone (a Oneplus) was paired with the car without issue about 6 weeks ago when i bought it.

Over the weekend it lost its pairing and now I cannot re-pair it (driving me nuts!). Each time I try I get the attached message on the screen

I have done a factory reset of the nav system, removed the phone and re-added and have also tested with my sons phone which is fine

Any suggestions will be gratefully received and thanks in advance

Because of the wide variety of cellular phones, software etc., it would be dam near impossible to put dealer techs thru that type of electronics training. Your Mazda dealer should have access to a toll free number that takes you directly to electro geek land. These people are on top of their game when it comes to cells, Bluetooth, and everything electronic. If they feel there is a failure within the component, they can assign you a reference number to give the dealer, authorizing them to replace failed part without additional hoops to jump thru.

1st step, delete all pairings in the car's system.
2nd, delete all pairings on your phone,
3rd, make sure your phones operating software is up to date,
4th, either visit https://www.mazda.co.uk/buying-ownin...compatibility/ to check compatability of your phone or visit your local dealer.
5th Visit your dealer to update your MZD software to the latest version.

Then try again.
