I just swapped out my 2006 Mazda6 3.0 liter motor for a 2005 Mazda 6 3.0 liter motor and the oil pans are not allowing me to swap out the exhaust. Can anyone tell me if I can just swap the oil pans from the two Motors so the exhaust will fit from the 2006 car without completely replacing the exhaust?

 

I see you posted this a couple of days ago, did you come up with an answer? Should be easy enough to pull the pan and find out. Check the size and depth of the oil pick up to make sure it has enough room to fit and doesn't bottom out.
