Ok I have changed oil many times but first time on my mazda 3. After changing oil and filter I have some smoking form exhaust and feels like car wants to stall. I am thinking I put too much oil in. Used 4.5 quarts of sw-20. Is that too much? IF so any recommended method of getting some out without busting the drain plug again? Maybe a syringe? Any advice is appreciated.

 

Oh and the dipstick indicates oil level is right at max so it should be good?
