My 2008 Mazda Tribute isport makes an odd clicking sound after starting the car. The sound is about 6 quick ticking sounds and repeats about every 10 secs for about the first 2 mins the car is on, then it goes away completely. But returns everytime the car shut off and turned back on. The car doesn't need to be running for it to happen. Just giving power to the car will make it happen. Car seems to be running fine and no warning lights come on. Sound is coming from under dash drive side. Any ideas?

 

The vent door actuator has some broken teeth in the plastic gears. The vent closes when you turn the vehicle off and opens when you start it.
