no spark, no start
I own a 1989 base unit B2200, my problem is I blew a head gasket and replaced it, but the gasket had a defect and blew out almost instantly. T replaced it again, but when I put everything back together, It turned over but no start. I have 12v to coil + and when I disconnected the balast, the metal condencer I got 12v to the - side.
I am not sure if I have it hooked up right. IDK, does this even make sence? I have been for weeks now and I am ready to push it out to the road put a free sign on it . but its my only vehicle. any advice would be greatly apriciated, thank you.

So I eliminated the ballast and tested with a volt meter. what I got was 12 volts going into the coil and 12 volts coming out of the coil. Is that not good ? because I learned it can burn out the control moduel? IDK I have tried everything I know, but allI have managed to get it to want to start, but then it just cranks , no start. I am stumped
