My brother in law is using my wife's 2003 Protege 5 and somehow screwed up the key fob.
He thinks he put the alarm on but when he tried to unlock the car this morning with the key fob it wouldn't open the doors. He used the key to get into the car but the car will not start. I think he got into some super security mode and the car won't start. Any help would be appreciated as my wife and I are in Charlotte and the brother in law is in Chicago.

 

you probably have a dead battery tell him too see if the lights where left on.
