Mazda Revue - Cutting out randomly and not starting randomly
Hoping this is the right place.
We have a mazda revue (autozam) that can be running sweet for a couple days, then all of a sudden it will splatter a bit and die. Then it can take around 5-10 minutes of trying to get it started where it will start working again. At first i thought it would have been the fuel filters, so i replaced that.. Then i thought it might be the spark plugs so i changed those. I also pulled the disributor cap off and cleaned it out.
Sometime when the ignition key is turned on, but not enough to start the car i can hear a buzzing / sparking sound coming from what appears to be the distributor. I have tried two mechanics but as they were unable to replicate the fault they gave it back saying nothing was wrong with it. I seriously am stuck for ideas.. Should i replace the distributor cap? or has anyone experienced this?

WTF is a Mazda Revue?
It's a small sh.it box.
The Autozam Revue was a subcompact car from Mazda's Autozam marque, introduced in 1990–1998. The demise of that marque led to the cars being renamed the Mazda Revue in some markets. The car was also sold in Europe, Australia, Colombia, Bolivia, Chile, the UK and some other export markets as the Mazda 121. In 1996, the 121 name was shifted to export versions of the Mazda Demio, a tall, five-door hatchback, which became exported as the Mazda2 in its second generation.
The Revue was available in most markets as a small four-door with an optional canvas sunroof added in February 1991. 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5 litre engines were offered, with either five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
It was slated in Australia for scoring only 22 points from 100 in the NRMA (National Roads & Motorists Association of NSW) car security assessment exercise.: in otherwords, a sh.it box.

- Hey there did you ever find the issue you were struggling with? I’ve been going through what seems like the same problem but cannot find the source of the problem for the life of me.
I also recently encountered the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?
