Hello everybody,
I took my wife's minivan to different places including Mazda dealer. The motor shuts down when she's driving it. I have heard the same problem in other forums. Anyone has any suggestion? I bought it new in 2005 and this problem can be very dangerous and even provoke an accident.

What I have found which is a common problem is that the Idle air control motor sticks due to carbon build up.

 

How does the engine shut down. instantly or rough? Does it get hot? Do lights dim? More info always helps
