Mazda GTX boost cutting..
Hi, I bought a gtx today got it cheap so decided why not lol.
Anyway it has a small problem, on WOT (wide open throttle) the engine starts to sboost fine then it hits the factory boost cut (buzzer) and backs off..
So my question is, does anyone know what could cause this?
Its had a few mods:
External wastegate plummed (top vacuum port is not hooked up, should it be?)
Boost tap
Bov
Front mount
Im guessing it could be a wastegate problem and over spooling the car doesnt have a boost gauge yet so I can not tell what psi its peaking at, Feels like it could be over 12 tho pulls hard lol.
Any info would be great
Cheers
EDIT:
Also what i find strange is that he got the WG plumed back in right were the stock exhaust extractors merge into 1 pipe (right up as far as he could take it to the engine :L) Stupid Idea having it there before the 90° bend.. so could it be a back pressure problem? Cheers

sup man can you tell me if there an air flow meter infront of turbo if so this may be fulty as boost is calculated by air flow and yes hose got to be connected not to vacuum but positive boost pressure hope this helps
