I ran across this information today and thought I'd post it in hopes of helping anyone who may be having an issue

Pandora released and new version March 7th, V7.0. This version is causing a few issues with Mazda Connect on 2014, '15 and '16 Mazda3 Mazda6 CX-3 CX-9 and MX5's.

Navigation voice guidance will skip and cut out losing words

Pandora will suddenly disconnect and Mazda Connect will revert to the previously used source.

The Dealerships were advised there is nothing wrong with Mazda's programming, it's on Pandora's end. Anyone having a issue with this has to contact Pandora direct at Pandora-support@pandora.com

Side note, If the Pandora app works on your phone, you can still stream using the Bluetooth.
