Default Mazda Connect GPS Calibration

Does anyone know how to calibrate the Mazda Connect GPS. The system in our 2016 Mazda 2 (Scion iA) is off by a few hundred feet. As a result it is constantly giving directions of how to get back on the main road and not giving the directions on how to get where you need to go.

I heard there is a method to re-center the GPS, however, I can't find it in any menu.

The answer to my question for anyone who encounters a similar problem in the future and lands on this thread:

The Mazda dealer said that they would update the software to the latest version. My son took it in to the Toyota dealership to see what they would do. First they said there was no problem with the system. After encouraging the technician to see it in operation on a test drive, he plugged his laptop into the vehicle OBC II, typed a little while and declared the system fixed. He said if that did not fix it, they would need to replace the system. There was no improvement when he drove home.

When he got home, I went into the menu and restored faculty defaults. This reset the system and the problem was resolved. The next thing I was going to try was to unplug the battery for a few minutes also hoping to reset the system. My reasoning behind sending him to the dealership before I tried to fix it was based on the hope they would update the software to the latest version. It was also the last day of the 3 year warranty and I wanted to get the problem on the record with Toyota.

This may be one of the lessons to be learned when buying a vehicle that is re-badged and sold by a different manufacturer. I suspect the buyers of Mazda built Fiat 124s and BMW built Toyota Supras will run in to similar difficulties.
