2002 Ts2 with Bose radio and 6cd changer. Battery has gone flat before. No probelm boosting and switching radio back on, had to reseek channels etc.
Last time left lights on. tried restart but horn started beeping faintly. Probably car alarm activated. Boosted car and switche on radio only to get the CD only. No buttons work, no radio but the volume does work. however ejected the remaining CDs then the rado came on but cannot access anything else. Can manually tune to other channels but no buttons work on console or steering wheel relating to the radio, clock, dimmer, outside air temp. All other controls function normally. Local dealer wants to take out and send away. Any cheaper solutions?????

 

Left car garaged, battery disconnected while on holiday. Fitted new battery on return and fired up car. Presto everything back to normal. No fix required.
